Hi! Hope u r feeling better already :) I've seen them live twice too, one time at Helsinki (last October) and one time at London on November 2009. Both gigs were awesome! I'm lucky to get to see them three times this year (yep, I know, I'm quite fanatic about them :D ). So u are going to Wembley gig? I'm coming there too, on both days :)

Hey,
I'm finally back home from my Sweden trip. Sorry I hadn't had the chance to reply meanwhile.
It was really amazing and I really had a good time but there is so much to tell I don't even know where to start. I guess I will try write a detailed report somewhen this week. I already uploaded all pictures on myspace. It took me forever since I took like 850 pictures.

So what did you do in the past month. Did I miss anything important?

Well the rightists are facists or neo-nazis and the leftists are well the opposite, communists or something like that. The concerts took place after an antifacism football cup and my dad told us that it's likely that there was going to be a confrontation.

So when you can't remember it maybe you haven't done anything ;) I know that feeling. Sometimes I think wow another weekend's gone and what have I done except watching TV? Horrible...

So you're moving to Edinburg? Cool, I've been there once. Have I already mentioned that?

Thanks for wishing me luck. I guess I will need it :P

My weekend was quite nice.
My friend and I decided last minute not to go to the concert since we heard that there might be some trouble between leftists and rightists. That was a really good decision because there was a huge fight between them. It was all in the newspapers.
We went to the cinema instead and decided to watch Mamma Mia which was a really great decision too. It was such a great film. We were laughing a lot. We loved it so much that we went to see it again yesterday. The second time my friend brought her parents ABBA CD and we were singing along to the songs in the car real loudly. That was a lot of fun although usually thatt's not my kind of music.

Singstar night was nice too although we were only 4.
Oh and I think you must have been right about me being a great singer since I won every song ;)

So how was your weekend? I hope just as much fun.
And it's really great to hear you're having so much fun with your job. That's very important and I know a lot of people always complaining about their jobs. So it's nice that it's not the case with you.

Sorry it took me so long to answer but I'm almost through with my exams now. Only three more. I can't wait for my holiday to come.

This weekend is quite busy too. My friend from Greifswald ( the one I go to Sweden with) comes home this weekend. So we are meeting today and just chat and discuss our trip and in the evening I was invited to a concert of some band from Leipzig. It's for free so we are going to check it out. I mean I'm such a big fan of so many foreign bands and I don't know any local ones. I'm going to change that now.
Tomorrow some friends and I are barbecueing and afterwards we want to play singstar. I bet that is going to be fun since no one of us is a really good singer.

So how have you been doing? How did the job thing work out?

Ah well...I have still vacations and next friday the biggest festival in our town will start. It`s the "Cranger Kirmes". It`s a fair with a big shopping mile and so on. It goes from the 1fst till 8th august and mostz people of town went there. Some people come from cities far away to see it.

My favourite band was definitley Franz Ferdinand. That was amazing. We were all jumping around like maniacs and singing along to the songs. Well at least to the old one. Half songs they played were new and I've never heard them before but it was nice to finally hear some new stuff.
I also had a lot of fun seeing Blood Red Shoes because it was quite early and not that many people were there. So we had a lot of space to jump and dance.
I also discovered a band I didn't knew before. I really liked them. The were called Twisted Wheel.

Yes the getting soaked part might have been funny but it was really kind of cold in the night. I didn't mind though the next day because it was warm. A lot of people were jumping through the puddles. Sadly I forgot to bring gumboots. I only had chucks. It would have been a bit disgusting having all the water in there ;)
The next time I will be better prepared ;)

I'm really very sorry your weekend sucked. What happened? Why did you break up with your girlfriend?

I at least hope everything works out with your job. I wish you a lot of luck with this one.

Hey,

how did things with the job go? I hope well.

Since I'm writing to you you will probably have figured out that I survived the festival ;)
It was so much fun and there weren't that many people. I always made it in the first row so I was able to take a lot of pictures of the bands I saw. That was nice. If you're interessted I uploaded the pictures on myspace. They are in the album 'Melt! 2008'.

It rained very ******* Friday and Saturday. We were all soaked. My friends where whining that they wanted to go because of the rain and the cold. Sissys ;)

I hope you had a nice weekend too.
