How are you?
My name is Uwe (or Uwi as nickname), i am 35 years old and i live in Vienna / Austria. Actually i am from Berlin, but i moved to Austria in 2007, because i found a very nice job here. I work as IT consultant / programmer for a big health care group and have to care for 5 hospitals in Vienna.

In my spare time i like to go hiking, swimming or bicycling. Also i love reading, playing computer games or watching DVD.
I don't have TV, so i have absolutely no idea about series like "Dr. House" or "Friends" etc. - sorry ;)

I spent two weeks in Spain last year and did a round trip.
This Juni i travelled to Malta for 10 days and i plan another vacation for end of October.

Normally i prefer to spend as much as possible time outdoor in the summer months, but this
weekend is spoilt by rain, grey and drab. So i do some housework and well, yes i surf around
at interpals in search for potential new pals :D

I never tried to travel alone in whole meaning but I often go with friends but we just sleep in one hotel, and go around places separately, cos we have different interests

hahah... the smile look so sincere, it might be such a funny thing

I think that more important is have a lot of information about place where you want to go. Cos it could be another country with completely different traditions and mentality. And maybe you should know local lanquaqe of the local people, it'll help you . Coz local people can't know english/ if you travel alone - you have to know rules of Conduct inside this country. I've met a lot of girls that travel alone/ During their travel they met a lot of friends from over the world
but it coudbe a little bit dangerous
so you need one friend who will travel with you
or find volunteers program for young people and you'll find some persons whose just dream about travel and do it succesful
for the start you have to start)))
or try to visit Rainbow - all eauropean festival of travellers
it's not dangerous if you even go alone
it's cool
on this festival you';ll find a lot of travellers
