We also use Autocad, but just for surveying and plan purpose. How can you check the clearance then? Do you assume that all the site is plain?

How can you design it in Autocad? (: sounds weird.. Well, in Turkey, the same line carries 154 kV energy, but in Iraq it is 132 kV. as i said, it depends on country. We use PLS-CADD to design the line, it's very useful you should give it a try

Which software do you use, PLSCADD? We generally deal with 132 kV D/C and 400 kV. 110 kV? I don't know about that, well it depends on countries tho..
