he could get hired on as a contractor here Im sure. Theres lots of jobs for an electrician. Im sure you could find work too :)

accomodation can be a bit crazy here. its super expensive but everyone is paid so much it doesnt really matter. Alot of jobs will pay for your accomodations, or at least part of it.. its called ' living out allowence" aka LOA. What type of work do you guys do? Oh and we have an airport here, even though its a pretty small city. Some of the big companies in town that most people apply to are Suncor, Syncrude, & Albian Sands.

oh my you *MUST* read river god.. theres 3 books in the series. I loved it. Calgary is one of my favorite cities here but if you want to make a ton of money go to fort mcmurray... its insaaaannne there. 14 year old kids that work at mcdonalds make like 17$ an hour.
