Compliments of the season. Sorry that I have not been able to get back to you about our discussions on editing my book. I am currently discussing with Xlibris Publishing House in the UK to self publish the book. They will do proof reading and editing, and the price is quite reasonable.
I do hope you are not offended that it took so long for me to get back to you about it. I certainly appreciate your skill and understanding of the written word, and could have benefitted immensely from your contributions to my work.

Yes. To go over it for errors and give your opinion on how it can be tightened up, yes.
In terms of when to complete, it's up to you. I just ask that it shoulld not be too long. I am looking at two months, possibly less.

I can barely scrap it up, but can get it together in say six weeks.

You are so young, at any rate, at my age, you are really young. And I admire your talent.
